In the name of God Amen:  I William Rymell of the parish of St Mary Le Strand in the county of Middlesex, cloathworker being in perfect health, mind and memory praised be Almighty God for the same.   I do make and declare this …… to be my last will and testament in form following that is to say first and principally I command my soul into the hands of Almighty God my creator not doubting but through the merit and mediation of Jesus Christ my only saviour and I ………………. Full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my sinnes and life everlasting.  My body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor hereafter names.  And as touching that part of this worlds goods which God in …………….. hath blessed me with all.  After my debts and funeral charges are thereout first paid and deducted I give and bequeath the same as followeth that is to say first I give and bequeath unto my brothers in law John Parsons, Richard Parsons and to my sisters in law Katherine Silverside, Anne Whittle, Margaret Hadlett and  Alice Parsons tenne shillings apiece to buy every one of them a ring.  The rest and residue of all and every my lands, tenements, goods, chattels, rights, property and estate whatsoever as well real as personal I give and bequeath unto my daughter Alisha Rymell.  But if it should happen that my said daughter shall dye or depart this life before she attains to the age of eighteen years or day of marriage then I give and bequeath to my loving friend Thomas Whittle, my loving uncle Thomas Rymell twenty shillings apiece to buy each of them a ring.  And the rest and residue of all and every my said estate both real and personal I give and bequeath unto my brothers Richard Rymell, Thomas Rymell, John Rymell, James Rymell and Simon Rymell and to my sisters Elizabeth Bignell, wife of Robert Bignell, Joanne Rymell, Mary Rymell and Sarah Rymell and to the survivor of them to be equally divided between them.  And I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Thomas Whittle sole executor of this my last will and testament and my said uncle Thomas Rymell and my said brother Thomas Rymell overpass thereof.  And I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other wills legacies and bequests by me formally made as given.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of July in the seventeenth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord Charles the second by the grace of God King of England - Anno Domini one thousand six hundred and sixty five.  William Rymell.  Read, signed, sealed and published & declared and delivered by the said testator for and as his last will and testament in the presence of us: …………………
