RIMELL – DURRANT Marriage, 1765

William Rimell - Mary Durrant - Licence application

20th September 1765

Which day apperared personally William Rimell and made oath that he hath the last four weeks of his usual abode in the Parish of Shenley in the County of Hertford that he is a Batchelor of the age of thirty years and upwards and intends to Intermarry with Mary Durrant of the Parish of Sun who hath had the last four weeks of her usual abode in the Parish of Sunbury in the County of Middlesex Spinster aged likewise thirty years and upwards he this declared not knowing or believing any impediment by reason of any precontract consanguinity affinity or any other cause whatsoever to hinder the said intended marriage and he prayed a Licence for them to be married in either of the Parish Churches aforesaid.
