Mary RIMELL
14th August 1851
This is the last Will and Testament
of me Mary Rimell of King Street, Hammersmith in the County of Middlesex, widow which I make as follows. First I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary charges and expenses be fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my decease and I direct that my body be decently interred in the Vault belonging to my son Thomas Rimell in the Church Yard of Saint Pauls Hammersmith. I give and bequeath all my stock in trade horses tools implements of trade and fixtures in and about my House and Premises at Hammersmith aforesaid to my son Thomas Rimell to and for his own use and benefit. I give and bequeath all my household goods and furniture plate linen china books book debts ready money and securities for money in the Public Stocks or Funds and all other my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever as well real as personal unto unto my son Thomas Rimell and my daughters Mary Rimell Ann Rimell and Martha Rimell to be equally divided between them share and share alike as tenants in common and in case of the death of any of them my said four last named children in my lifetime then I direct that the share or shares of him her or them so surviving go to and be paid and received by the survivors or survivor of them my said children in equal shares and proportions. And I appoint my sons Thomas Rimell of Hammersmith aforesaid Butcher Richard Rimell of the same place Vintner and Valentine Rimell of the same place Timber Merchant to be Executors of this my Will and thereby revoking all other Will and Wills by me at any time theretofore made I declare this alone to be and contain my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred and forty six Mary Rimell directed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix Mary Rimell as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto all at the same time set and subscribed our names as witnesses hereto Saml Taylor, Great Newport Street, Elizth. Taylor, Hammersmith.
I Mary Rimell of King Street Hammersmith in the County of Middlesex Widow desire this to be a Codicil to my last Will and Testament bearing date the twenty seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred and forty six that is to say I do hereby revoke the appointment of my son Valentine Rimell as an Executor of my said Will and confirm the Appointment of my other two Executors in the said Will named and appointed and in all other respects I confirm my said will as witness my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of December one thousand eight hundred and fifty Mary Rimell signed sealed published and declared by the said Mary Rimell as and for a Codicil to her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other have all at the same time set our names as witnesses the word fourth being first erased and the word sixth introduced in the last line but one Saml Taylor John James Smith
Proved at London with a Codicil the 14th August 1851 before the Worshipful .Phillimore Doctor of Laws and surrogate by the oath of Richard Rimell the Son the surviving executor to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
