In the Name of God Amen I John Anthony Dyckhoff of the parish of Isleworth in the county of Middlesex Tin Plate Worker being of sound mind and understanding do make publish and declare this- this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following to wit I assign my soul to Almighty God who gave it me and my body to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named and as touching such worldly estate that it hath pleased God to bestow on me I dispose thereof as follows (viz) I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be first payd and discharged and from and after payment thereafter. Imprimis I give devise and bequeath of my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth Dyckhoff all my Stock in Trade-household goods chattels ready money, money at interest and wearing apparel both woollen and linnen upon condition that my said wife pay all my just debts legacies and payments hereinafter mentioned I likewise give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Landswift one shilling a month to be paid to her by my said wife Elizabeth Dyckhoff for pocket money and my will is that my said wife Elizabeth Dyckhoff pay to the Church wardens of the parish of Isleworth in the county of Middlesex for the time being the sum of fifty pounds of good and lawfull money of Great Britain within three months after my decease to be by the said Church wardens forthwith placed out at lawful interest and the same to be paid by the Church wardens of the said parish of Isleworth for the time being yearly and every year to my said wife Elizabeth Dyckhoff during her natural life and from and after her decease the said lawfull interest to be paid by the Church wardens of the said parish of Isleworth for the time being at one shilling a week and every week successively to my said daughter Margaret Landswift during her natural life for pocket money and from and after the decease of my said wife and my said daughter I Give Devise and Bequeath to the poor of the parish of Isleworth in the said county of Middlesex the aforesaid sum of fifty pounds of good and lawfull money of Great Britain and the interest of the same for ever upon condition that the Church Wardens of the said parish of Isleworth and their successors for the time being do faithfully discharge the trust I hereby repose in them - that is to say in placing out the aforesaid sum of fifty pounds at lawfull interest and paying the same according to my Will and also to keep and maintain my said daughter Margaret Landswift in the workhouse of the parish of Isleworth aforesaid or elsewhere during her natural life I likewise Give and Bequeath to my said daughter Margaret Landswift two pounds and two shillings towards mourning I also Give and bequeath to my son William Dyckhoff the sum of two pounds and two shillings as a legacy my full willis that my said wife Elizabeth Dyckhoff be my sole executrix and that Peter Thursfield of the parish of Isleworth in the county of Middlesex aforesaid pastry cook assist my said wife and see all things performed according to my will I also acknowledge this to be my last Will and Testament revoking and making void all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 9th day of August 1746 and in the 20th year of our Sovereign King George the Second of Great Britain France and Ireland defender of the faith name Antony Dyckhoff - signed sealed and declared in the presence of us- Peter Thursfield, Geo Morphew, Thomas Cope, Wm Clark.
THIS WILL was proved at London before the worshipfull Arthur Collier Doctor of Laws surrogate of the Right Worshipfull John B Hosworth also Doctor of Laws master keeper or commissary of the prerogative court of Canterbury lawfully constituted the eleventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty six by the oath of Elizabeth Dyckhoff the widow relict and Sole Executrix in the said will named to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased being first sworn duly to administor Exd.
