The last Will & Testament of Daniel Rimell, Taylor of Storrington in the County of Sussex Wrote by himself on the 18th day of January 1841. In the first place let all my just debts be paid. Next I do appoint my daughter Elisabeth Mary, the wife of Samuel Eraiump Gibbs and Samuel Eraiump Gibbs to be my Executors. I give and bequeath unto the aforesaid Elisabeth Mary the wife of the said Samuel Eraiump Gibbs xx xxxx administrators or assigns all that xxx freehold dwelling house & outbuildings, gardens be as is now occupied by me and was left to me by my mothers will. I also give unto her the leasehold property which I hold of 24 & 26 Mirhall, also all my household furniture, money, plate, linen and china, book debts, live and dead stock & every other description of Property that I am possessed of at the time of my death my not having described in a proper legal manner is to be no bar to the said Elisabeth Mary Gibbs my daughter taking and keeping for her own use every thing that belonged to me. -- Danl Rimell signed by us in the presence of William Linfield J. Appeared Personally William Linfield of Storrington in the county of Sussex xxxxx and made oath that he is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last will and testament now hereto annexed of Daniel Rimell formerly of Storrington in the county of Sussex and late of Crawley Street on Earley Square in the County of Middlesex deceased, the said will bearing date the eighteenth day of January in the year 1841 and beginning thus The last Will and Testament of Daniel Rimell, Taylor of Storrington in the County of Sussex and ending thus Elisabeth Mary Gibbs my daughter taking and keeping for her own use every thing that belonged to me and he further made oath that on the 19th day of January aforesaid the said testator duly executed his said will by signing his name at the foot or end thereof in the postscript of this xxxxxxxx and of John Battrork Field and Ellen Young the other subscribed witnesses thereto present at the same time and this xxxxxxxx and the said John Battrork Field and Ellen Young thereupon attested and subscribed the said will in the presence of the said testator and of each other in a manner as now approves the repetition of the word bequeath and of the name Eraiump interlined between the seventh and eighth and eighth and ninth lines of the said will having been first so made ----------- William Linfield --------- on the 23rd day of December in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty two the said William Linfield was duly avow to the truth of this affidavit by virtue of the xxxxxxxx Commission Before xxx William Bradford, Commissioner.
Proved at London the 28th Dec: 1852 before the worshipful xxxxxx.Thomas Pratt xxxxxx of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Samuel Eraiump Gibbs and of the executors to whom xxxxx was granted having been first sworn duly to administer power reserved of making the like grant to Elisabeth Mary Gibbs (wife of the said Samuel Eraiump Gibbs) the daughter the other executor xxxx shall apply for the same
