In the name of God Amen I Christopher Rimell of the parish of Frome Selwood in the county of Somerset, yeoman, being aged and very infirm do make and ordain this my last Will in manner and form following. I command my soul unto Almighty God hoping for salvation in and through the merits of my above Saviour Jesus Christ and my body to be decently buryed at the discretion of my executor hereinafter named. Imprimis I give and devise unto my son Robard Rimell the tenement in Chapmanslade whereof to have the lease and enjoy the profits thereof for several years. And also I willeth him half a crown to be paid to him by my executor hereafter named. Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Rimell the tenement in Chapmanslade late Holoways whereof he hath now the lease and possession and all the residue and remainder that there I now have or had. I give and devise unto my son John Rimell and also I willeth him half a crown to be paid to him by my executors hereafter named. Item I give and devise unto my granddaughter Elizabeth Skemell the daughter of John Skemmel her executors, administrators and assigns from and immediately after my decease that parcel of ground late Stones and the house newly erected therteon and all that plot or parcel of ground thereunto adjoining called Colses for and during all the Term of Lease or interest therein I willeth unto her. Item I give and bequeath unto my grandson Joseph Skemmell his executors administrators and assigns all that my house and grounds now in the possession of John Skemmell late Hobses tenement all my estate and interest therein in trust upon confidence nevertheless that he the said Joseph Skemmell his executors administrators and assigns shall and will permit and suffer my daughter his mother the wife of John Skemmell to enjoy and receive the profits thereof and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease they that he and they shall and will out the issues and profits thereof pay to the said John Skemmell if he happen to survive his wife the sum of five pounds yearly without any deduction for and during the term of his natural life if the persons named on the lease liveth so long and to pay the residue of the clear issues and profits of the said tenement to and amongst his two brothers and sister Mary children of my daughter but if the said John Skemmell happen to dye before my said daughter___ then upon her decease to pay all the clear profits and issues thereof to and amongst the two sons of my daughter namely John and George her daughter Mary each one to have an equal share or proportion according to the discretion of my executor Joseph Skemmell his executors administrators and assigns as he or they shall judge most reasonable and convenient. Item I give and bequeath unto my grandson Joseph Skemmell his executors administrators and assigns that my messuage or tenement commonly called or known by the name of Mont Sheper or Skeper with all my estate and interest thereon together with the lease thereof. And also I giveth unto my son Christopher Rimell one half crown to be paid by my executor heareafter named. And all the rest residue and remainder of moneys securitys of money, household goods, chattels, cattle, implements of what kind soever not otherwise given or disposed of. I give and bequeath unto my grandson Joseph Skemmell whom I make and constitute whole and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills by me here before made.
