All Saints Church, Isleworth Original parish records held at Hounslow library. The library also holds a full transcription (with surname indexes) on Marriages, Banns, Burials and Baptisms that were compiled by Mrs M Sibley. According to the librarian she spent about three years on the project and he believes that her transcriptions are as accurate as possible. Mrs Sibley is also mentioned in the West Middlesex Family History Society as offering lookups of the Isleworth parish Records for a small fee. I looked at the original baptism records and can now understand why the microfilm copies at the LMA are not clear. The pages seem to have melted as a result of the fire and are almost translucent in places. They are, in my opinion, just a bit clearer than the microfilm copies.
In the baptisms the transcription list the following under the name Rimell
9th August 1772 Hannah, dr of Richard and Elizabeth Rimell - (984/5/6) + (2398/9)
3rd July 1774 James, son of Richard and Elizabeth Rimell - (987/8/9/0/1/2/3)
There are no other entries under Rimell or any of the obvious spelling alternatives. I looked at the original for James (we originally had this as Ann) and can confirm, without doubt, that this entry is for a son. The first name is not clear but I believe that James is the correct transcription.
